Upon posting the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (N3220523Q2232) to SAM.gov on 24 August 2023 with a closing date of 31 August 2023, five proposals were received. Of the five proposals received, only one listed a Place of Manufacture as was specified in the posting. The Place of Manufacture is Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The Contracting Officer contacted the remaining four vendors via email asking for the Place of Manufacture for the parts being procured. Two responses were received of the four vendors emailed, with the Country of Origin for both vendors being Mexico. To date, the remaining vendors have not responded. The two responses with the COO Mexico are also the two lowest prices quoted. The COO Canada is the fourth highest of the quotes received. The intent is to award to the lowest price technically acceptable for $20,200.00 with COO Mexico.
